Terms of Service

Last updated March 16, 2026

Effective Date: 03/16/2026

Thank you for your interest in the PDF.co Affiliate Program. By joining our program, you agree to the following Terms of Service, which govern your participation and use of the affiliate platform.

1. Eligibility and Enrollment

To become an affiliate, you must submit an application through our affiliate platform and receive approval. We reserve the right to accept or reject any application at our sole discretion.

2. Commission Structure

Affiliates earn a 30% commission on the net revenue from any paying customer referred via their unique affiliate link. This includes all paid plans and API usage fees, excluding refunds, chargebacks, and applicable taxes. Commissions are earned on payments made within the first 12 months from the date of the referred customer's initial subscription.

3. Referral Attribution

We use a 60-day cookie window for tracking referrals. This means you will receive credit for any paying customer who signs up within 60 days of clicking your referral link. In the event of multiple affiliate referrals for the same customer, the first referral link clicked will receive attribution (first-touch).

4. Minimum Payout

Commissions are paid out only once your earnings reach a minimum threshold of $100 USD. If your balance is below this amount, it will roll over until the minimum is met.

5. Payout Schedule

Commissions become payable 30 days after the sale date. Payouts are processed monthly, typically within 10 days of the first of the month, once the $100 minimum threshold is met. Once funded, you can withdraw directly from your Rewardful dashboard. Available payout methods include bank transfer, PayPal, Wise, and others depending on your location and preferences. You must provide valid payment details and complete any required tax forms before payouts can be issued.

6. Prohibited Activities

Affiliates must not:

  • Use misleading or deceptive claims about PDF.co
  • Engage in spam or unauthorized advertising
  • Bid on PDF.co brand terms in paid search campaigns
  • Pretend to be a representative or employee of PDF.co
  • Promote PDF.co without clearly disclosing that you earn a commission for referrals, as required by FTC guidelines and applicable law

Violating these policies may result in termination of your affiliate account and forfeiture of any unpaid commissions.

7. Tax Obligations

Affiliates are responsible for any taxes applicable to their commissions. For US-based affiliates earning more than $600 in a calendar year, PDF.co is required to issue a 1099-NEC tax form. To facilitate this, you will be asked to provide your Social Security Number (if an individual) or Employer Identification Number (if a business) when your earnings approach this threshold. For non-US affiliates, federal taxes may be withheld from payouts unless you provide valid tax exemption documentation.

8. Disclosure Requirements

As an affiliate, you are required to clearly and conspicuously disclose your participation in the PDF.co Affiliate Program whenever promoting PDF.co products or services. This disclosure must comply with FTC guidelines and any other applicable laws in your jurisdiction. Failure to disclose may result in termination of your affiliate account.

9. Termination

You may leave the program at any time by contacting us. PDF.co may terminate or suspend your affiliate account at any time for violations of these terms or misuse of the program, effective immediately and without notice. Outside of violations or fraud, PDF.co will provide 30 days written notice of termination. Any unpaid commissions will be forfeited in the event of fraud or abuse.

10. Changes to the Program

We reserve the right to update or modify the affiliate program, including commission rates, terms, and eligibility criteria, at any time. For material changes — including reductions in commission rate or changes to the commission window — affiliates will be given at least 30 days written notice. Continued participation in the program after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
